Her feet are warm. I would have expected her to pull them away from my pinch faster than she did, but she felt it and did move.

The only difference today since the pred injection is she has more energy and is trying harder to run around. She seems slightly more coordinated and manages to stay upright and crawl, rather than just flop over and give up, unless she gets a foot stuck under her.

She flips on her side to scratch but doesnt quite hit the area, it may hit very lightly but is mostly just above her skin in the air.

At the er vet last night her fever had dropped to 103.4.

Vet called about her full Chem/CBC today, normal except for a very low HCT. It was down to 24 where it was more like 59 in July. The vet said she's losing blood somewhere and has concern for cancer. We're trying to give her small meals of meat every few hours.

My vet knows ferrets, as in she's done adrenal surgeries but is more comfortable with left than right, they do lupron injections...she's familiar with common issues but I don't know the extent of her ferret knowledge. Our regular vet wasn't in that day so we saw another vet at the same clinic who has worked with ours for about 4 years now and will consult on Monday with our regular one and she said with a specialist as well. Yes they would be willing to consult with others but I also want to bring her to another on Monday if possible, to see if he thinks anything could have been missed.

Thank you Sukie

Jaime
