i am planning to try this method.. giving a ferret desorlin implant between the age of 4 and 6 months old. 4.7 amt. and giving it every year. some research has been done to use it as a prevantative of adrenal disease. am concerned of course..but i think i will give it a try.
there has been some success with it.. they say the desorlin implants varies in ferrets tested some last nearly 2 yrs others even less and some maybe 14 months. So one vet suggest just to give it every year and not risk it running out.
