G'day,
The dark spot on the ferret's vulva was a large amount of pigment. It was removed and sent to pathology for testing. There was no malignancy.
I wonder where did the pigment come from? Vulvae are normally not pigmented. Could have been a rogue or misplaced pigment cell responsible for this?
The ferret's anal scent glands have not been removed.
