Jeffrey, I have used the extra virgin or extra, extra virgin olive oil for my ferrets and I have also mixed it half and half with ferratone and it works fine with no detrimental effects that I have seem and I've had ferts for 12 years.
Also I have read from other lists that ferrets sometimes do lick their urine and it has no bad effects and just seems to be something that animals do occasionally but I discourage it and try to wipe up urine (if they miss the box or paper) as soon as they go.
