Subject: [ferrethealth] Prednisolone Dosage for Lymphoma
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

My 6 year old ferret Boris has been diagnosed with aggressive Lymphoma. The vet prescribed Prednisolone at 0.8 ml, (15 mg/5ml), two times per day. This dose seems very high to me. While I have never had a ferret with Lymphoma before, I have had ferrets with Insulinoma, and their dosage was almost 1/10th that ammount. Any comments about Prednisolone dosage for Lymphoma would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kathleen
