Hi, Sheryl,

I know you have transportation problems but nothing other than a visit
with an experienced ferret vet will give you the answers you need
about Mojave. An experienced ferret vet may be able to do a needle
aspirate to determine if lymphoma is involved. Also, if it is
lymphoma you want to start treatment ASAP to slow the progression of
the disease and maintain Mojave's quality of life as long as possible.
Of course, neither you nor I know if it's lymphoma or not.

You might want to let us know where you are located. You might also
want to post to the Ferret Mailing List (FML) and reach out to other
ferret owners in your area. I know that if you lived near me I'd
gladly give you and Mojave a ride to the vet and I'd bet other ferret
owners in your area will be willing to do the same. You'll also have
the added advantage of getting to a vet who is trusted by other ferret
owners in your area.

Good luck to you and to Mojave. Here's hoping it isn't lymphoma at all.

All the best,
Caity and the dynamic duo
Zephyr and Chin Soon
