Ella,
Your little BooBoo has neared the end of his road.
You may not want or be able to accept this, it truly sounds like with the multiple cancers invading his little body he is living each day for you.
The pred and his heart condition are causing the edema, and the tumors prompting the loss of bladder and bowel control he does not have any quality of life in this condition. The vets are correct, the cancer is throughout his system affecting the adrenals, pancreas, and likely the bowels. You need to judge BooBoo's comfort level and if he does not have joy in his eyes and face, if he refuses to eat realize that he has traveled as far down his little road as he is able.
When our children are trapped in failing bodies it is a gift to set their souls free so they may find the joy of health in the next world. This gift is a hard one for us humans to give, but it is the kindest gift of all.
My prayers are with you.
