I would take a stool sample with you and have them look at it under the mic=
roscope and check for parasites and see if the bacterial flora looks normal=
.=C2=A0 We have had ferrets who get a large number of spore forming rod bac=
teria.=C2=A0 A couple is OK but if you have a large percentage of the spore=
forming rods you may have some type of intestinal infection and maybe he n=
eeds antibiotics.=C2=A0 Keep giving the ferretax or laxatone to help him go=
.
=C2=A0
I believe you said he was just shy of 1 year old.=C2=A0 I don't think this =
would be insulinoma or adrenal disease at that age, although it is not out =
of the realm of possibility.
=C2=A0
Is his temperature normal?=C2=A0 Are his stools normal, thin, or thick?=C2=
=A0 What is the color?

I've had ferrets with insulinoma and adrenal gland but he is showing no sig=
ns...I.e. The hair falling off, the pink feet, the woozy state. And he is s=
howing no sign of pain. Is there a test I can ask for specifically?
