Hunny has a vet appt. today and I will update after that, but I did want to=
write briefly to say that I got her stabilized and more or less back to he=
r normal self after she got a second dose of prednisolone (1 mg each dose),=
which was given 5 hours after the first. Both were given with some soup. =
At 8:30 this morning she got a third dose, about .67 mg, which was about 11=
hours after the second dose. I=E2=80=99ve also changed her feeding schedu=
le for soup from 8 hours to 6 hours, at least until we figure out what=E2=
=80=99s going on. It seems likely that it=E2=80=99s one of three things, b=
ut I will confer with the vet today after a BG test and any other appropria=
te tests. Either insulinoma, pancreatic carcinoma, or lymphoma of some sor=
t. Those are my best 3 guesses at this point, but given how quickly it cam=
e on, I=E2=80=99m leaning away from =E2=80=98regular=E2=80=99 insulinoma at=
this time.
