Hi Tressie,

I have an appt to take him to the vet tomorrow (Wed) morning. I spoke to his vet and she said as long as he's eating/drinking/peeing/pooping/playing he should be fine until then, and it will likely just be the pain that bothers him.

It was looking great last night, and I thought it was healing nicely, but this morning as we began our cleaning routine and I opened the sore to keep it draining, it had a pocket full of pus again, which was a setback. There was hardly a drop of pus draining since Sunday, so I slowed on the compresses and just kept cleaning it and made sure it was draining, so that was probably my mistake. Poor little guy is such a trooper through all this!

I'm pretty sure he is descented, he is a Marshall boy. I adopted him from my best friend, who gave me all his papers and I met him about a week after she got him.
