Subject: [ferrethealth] worms in ferrets
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
One of my ferrets has not been feeling well, he has had very runny poo. Well the vet checked out the poo and the lab said that it showed pin worms. My vet did some research and found that ferrets don't get pin worms, she is going to make the lab do the test again (free). I just wanted to know if anyone has heard about this before? He goes back to vet Thur for surgery, has a benign growth on the tip of his tail that will be removed. I will take a fresh sample in with me, to be checked.
Thanks in advance.
