Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Essiac and Lassix (anyone have experience)
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

My ferret has a lymphoma, and i would like give it essiac,I contacted with =
ESSIAC and they say that if given in capsules the dosage is 1/2 capsule at =
the morning and 1/2 at the night, but i don=B4t know, how many ml has an ca=
psule.

[ml is a volume measurement used with fluids.

mg is a weight measurement.

The amount of the solid medication in the fluid
gives the concentration which is how many mgs
are in each ml, written as:
mg/ml.

So, the weight of the med is what matters and then
you can dilute it yourself as much as you choose.

Is it your VETERINARIAN who is saying to give this,
and to give this amount? That is essential. The
treating vet must okay any medication given before
it is given.
