=A0 He is 1 lbs 14.5 ounces which is a weight loss of 4.5 ounces.

No we didn't run any blood work to test for liver & kidney function, I thou=
ght it may be a liver problem because we had Sprout last year who had cysti=
c liver disease and lost weight.=C2=A0 I guess I was so relieved to find th=
at we had a diagnosis I didn't think about anything else.=C2=A0 I went from=
thinking he had days left at most to he can get over this and be fine.=C2=
=A0 I was hoping for the weight to come back but it seems to be pretty slow=
as he only recovered 1 to 1.5 ounces so far but he looks even better than =
he did before the antibiotics (he didn't look bad before).
I think you have a good idea on checking the liver and kidney functions and=

We have seven ferrets=C2=A0who range in age from 7+ to about 4 years old.
