First off, it will help to know more about what you're seeing. Are you
talking about one of the top canine teeth ("fangs"), the bottom canine?

None of the other teeth are really big enough to match your description.

When the ferret's mouth is closed, it's normal for the canines to be outside
of the mouth. The top canines should be just outside of the bottom jaw,
with the tip about even with the lip.

Secondly, if it's not causing the ferret any problems, don't worry about it.
I've known of several ferrets with teeth that were not quite normal - some
with bottom teeth that came outside of the lips giving a snaggletooth look.
It never caused any issues.

You may want to contact a local ferret shelter and talk to them, where you
can compare your ferret to others, and discuss it with someone who's seen
lots of ferrets.
