So the bottom canine doesn't slide inside of the lip, but comes up outside,
slightly pushing it up.

Yes, this isn't strictly normal, but it presents absolutely no problem to
the ferret.

I've known other ferrets with this situation, and they lived to a ripe old
age, never being bothered by it.

To me, it just gives them a bit more character.

I wouldn't worry about it at all.
