Hello,

Please know that most people also use Prenisilone/Prenisone with Essiac
to treat lymphoma. Also know, that there are a lot of products out
there that say they are Essiac and are not. So, you need to be sure to
get one that is real.

The best person to advise you on this is Zoo at

a veterinary oncologist consultation and to get
your treating vet's okay before giving anything.

, as she uses Essiac a lot. There is a
another ferret shelter that uses it and gives information of what
company to order from. There website is

I get mine from the Vitamin store. I get the powder and brew it into a
tea. I divide it because once made Essiac is only good for two weeks
and you should make a new batch, at least the one I use. My product I
had researched previously and there are boxes that look like mine that
are not the real thing so look for Essiac Canada Int'l on the back.
This is a picture of what the bottle looks like....

As far as dosing I believe that it depends on what you bought/made and
the concentration. From what I am hearing around most are using 1ml 2x
daily. I start with 0.05cc 2x daily to see how the ferret tolerates it
and go up. Guille is at 0.07cc 2x daily, which is a dose I have used
before.

Essiac will lower blood sugar a little bit, so if your ferret is also
Insulinomic, you will need to watch the sugars.

Best of luck with your baby I wish him/her many more months of comfort,
happiness and love....

Judy and Guille
