When you read abstracts in PubMed
notice in the dog and cat studies that
chromium picolinate did not always
help w lowering blood sugar but at
the doses given no harm was seen.
Notice, too that it seemed to be more
likely to be useful when obesity was
present.
In Google Scholar this comes up:

with mention on page 52 so perhaps she
has not seen blood glucose lowered
by that supplement.
