Hi,
I have a 8 year old ferret. She has developed a habit of snoring over the last year, but other than that is in pretty good health. I have noticed a bump on her back foot recently that is pinkish and looks a bit like a blister.
I remember one of our ferrets having a sarcoma on his head that had to be removed, but I can't remember what it looked like. That is one possibilty I guess. It doesn't seem to hurt her. The surgery for the sarcoma was not a high priority according to the vet but I wonder if it might be something more serious.
Thanks for any information I should consider,
Shannon

Dear group owner,
When I look at "sarcoma" I think I might be remembering the wrong term from the
vet. It was a bump on my ferret's head that just formed on the surface and was
just removed by simple surgery- not malignant or anything like that. Please
feel free to change sarcoma to "bump" or any other applicable technical term :)

[Might have been a mast cell tumor:

but you can find other tumor types, too, in resources like that one.
Time for a vet visit!
