Subject: [ferrethealth] cola syrup for ferrets?

Okay, this is weird question and I suspect that the caffeine may be too high, but can cola syrup be used for ferrets to reduce/control nausea? I kind of doubt it, but right now it is really helping my sweet hubby who got food poisoning from a sandwich shop while we were traveling, so I wound up curious.
