I just removed a group of bouncing members because when I tried to notify them privately AOL said their addresses no longer exist. AOL may be doing housecleaning in a lump like Yahoomail does.
Should you hear of someone removed whose address actually does exist (i.e. AOL wrong) advise them to rejoin.
There are others in there whose messages did not bounce but AOL is not sending their Yahoogroups mail through to them, anyway. Hopefully, they are getting mail sent directly from people like me so they will follow-through for re-activation and resetting.
