Sorry, but I have to disagree with your excellent advice on just one small point, Tressie.  Unlike people ferrets are not prone to Vitamin A toxicity.  Also unlike people they are more prone to Vitamin D toxicity.  The history of people worrying about the A is based on people being concerned from what happens to people.  I am not feeling at all well and Steve and I are very busy with Telemna who is actively dying (but peacefully and without pain which is a mercy) so I'll just include links which say more for me while Steve holds her in his shirt near his heart.
