To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Could you provide us with a list of symptoms?  The description "looking & feeling "rough"" is a little vauge.

What does her poo look like?  Is it runny, slimy, smelly, green, brown, clear etc.

Did the vet do a blood glucose level?  This will help identify whether or not Roo has insulinoma or not.

How does she play?  Is she active or does she rest a lot.  When walking does she kind of act uncoordinated?

Any info on her symptoms would be helpful

Mike

Here are things about insulinoma and ECE but with such
a vague description it is hard to know if anything else is
going on:

pathology (islet cell tumor is insulinoma):

Is this ferret getting regular veterinary care with a ferret knowledgeable
vet?

How much time each day does the ferret have out of the cage in active
and interactive play?

and butterscotch pudding runs often happen with uncontrolled insulinoma
