....pumpkin, plain 'ol pumpkin added to some chicken or turkey baby food will stop diarrhea if that is all it is. Mine get it once in a blue moon and a 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin twice a day for a couple days works wonders.
Best of luck to the fuzzy bitt!

Hi, I'm looking for any suggestions on what to do next with my boy whose got the seedy diarrhea poops... My long-time, highly-trusted expert vet has recently relocated out of state, so I feel a little out in left field here with this being my first ferret 'problem' since he has left.Â
Shane has had off and on diarrhea before, and this part I forgot to mention to the vet - that I had given him furball remedy (its happened around shedding time before), and that has helped, however this time it did not help. I'm thinking maybe it could possibly be some sort of partial blockage, and maybe an ultrasound might be the next step? I've done all the food trials and whatnot, but we have tossed around the idea of IBD (she tends not to think lymphoma). Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Andrea
