Any word on the blood test results? Hopefully the test checked the ferret's lipase and globulin levels. I use these values to give me an index of suspicion of inflammatory bowel disease.

It seemed to help at first, but then about a week later, the diarrhea returned. We went back to the vets, she said still clostridium but not as much. She felt all around his abdominal area, and said his intestines don't seem inflamed and nodes don't feel enlarged. She did bloodtest on him, I haven't heard the results yet, but she mentioned liver values specifically. She put him back on Metronidazole and added in Clavamox. This time the antibiotics aren't helping much... maybe a little bit - he hasn't got the diarrhea as often and its not as watery, just really seedy... the first time on the Metronidazole poops firmed up within the first day or two.

I'm thinking maybe it could possibly be some sort of partial blockage, and maybe an ultrasound might be the next step? I've done all the food trials and whatnot, but we have tossed around the idea of IBD (she tends not to think lymphoma). Any suggestions?
