My friend Kim, who owns the ferret I posted pictures on the FHL about -still has her little guy. Its challenging but it appears to wax and wane as I stated in my earlier post. She hasn't given up on her little one, however, it is a difficult disease to manage for certain.
There are other options if your vet is open to exploring them. I can send you the paper on Pemphigus for your vet if you email me privately.
Perhaps it might be helpful for you to commiserate with my friend, I'll privately send you her email address.
