Has your vet considered intestinal lymphoma? The way to diagnose it is by biopsy, but has your vet done an ultrasound yet? A couple of years ago, I had my boy Gus who had non-stop diarrhea, tried all the non-invasive things first and then my vet recommended an ultrasound. It showed my vet a few things, one of which is that he had a couple of "spots" on his spleen... I can't remember what else he found, but those couple of indications from the ultrasound led my vet to believe we were dealing with intestinal lymphoma. That's when I allowed him to do an exploratory surgery... which led to the correct diagnosis.
I haven't been following this entirely, so apologize if this has been mentioned before or ruled out.
