Hi,

When Lady Ayeka had intestinal lymphoma our vet gave her diarsanyl for
diarrhea which worked. When Nyssa had the same problem a year later
and Kaopectate stopped working I asked our new vet about it. She
looked it up, said diarsanyl was "horse paste" and that it was "hokey
medicine" but that it works. We tried it on Nyssa and sure enough, it
controlled her diarrhea for a time. It is a thick brown paste that
ferrets hate but it does help.

Did you discuss the possibility of pancreatitis with your vet? I know
I had mentioned Pertwee's weight loss and how we controlled it in a
previous post.

I wish I had better answers for you. When all else fails an
exploratory surgery may be the last hope. A biopsy for lymphoma could
be done if you go that route.

I hope you and your vet come up with something.

All the best,
Caity and the dynamic duo
