Were any x-rays taken recently? Ultrasound? Barium x-ray to try to detect any blockages? Blood glucose test? What is the "same thing" that the vet keeps telling you? Rather than keep going to the same vet, you might want to try another and get a second opinion. Here are links to other recommended ferret vets. Perhaps there's one near you:
