It's a Canine Distemper Vaccine and ferrets can contract canine distemper.
There were too many problems with the old FDA ferret approved vaccine Ferrevac D
and there is still to many severe reactions with Purevax.
The one vet I mentioned had 2 severe reactions while the ferrets were in his
office, the owner wanted to sue him because of it. Pretty much none of the vets
in my area will touch Purevax, they would only use Galaxy D. They tried the
other 2 but found too many reactions with them.
