That's not necessarily true. I don't remember the year, but it happened in CA. There was an outbreak of canine distemper that hit many ferrets who had been vaccinated with Fervac D. The ferrets were re-vaccinated with Galaxy D and most ferrets survived. At the time my friend & co-judge Tracy was living in CA and there were articles
posted about it.
