Randie,

I think I would try some ferretlax while trying to reach your vet. If you don't have any, then try plain Vaseline with their ferretvite paste. Just from the post description, he could just be constipated. Worst case may be obstruction. 3 month kits, in my experience, do get tubby as they grow. Bottomless pits they can be, boy and girl alike. Especially boys!

You may want to make small batches of " soup" out of his Marshall's kibble, add vitamin drop or ferretvite, whatever you have. You may have to finger feed it to him at first. (He probably already has had soup after his accident.) This will ensure more water, get him used to soup for future sick times and you can sneak the Evo /Wellness Core after the first few times to get him started on the flavor changes quicker. His window of imprinting on one kind of food is quickly closing. I serve a mixture of foods as a rule then offer specific foods to the diehard finicky eaters.
