I concur with previous posters - this ferret needs to be taken to an Emergency Vet clinic ASAP, and I am sincerely hoping that has already happened since I am late at reading this post. And it certainly sounds like an emergency.

A ferret with a probable obstruction should not be given anything by mouth!! A partial obstruction may be moved through with petroleum jelly etc. but NOT an active full blown obstruction.

Unless you are a veterinary professional or a highly experienced ferret person - do not attempt to give anything by mouth to an obstructed ferret.

I am sure I speak for others when I say that we are anxious to hear how this little one is doing.
