Before this turns into a roving, theoretical conversation about this vaccine:
please stay tuned. I spent an hour on the phone with the developer of this
vaccine today. He was most kind to spend such time with me, the non-scientist,
taking the time to explain things in such great detail...and I now feel like I
know more about distemper and vaccines that I'll ever need to! I shall type up
the info from the conversation tonight or tomorrow when I have a chance. I got
off the phone feeling very confident about this vaccine and in fact, it has been
used on ferrets for quite some time now - but of course "off label" so the
company can't market it for ferrets.
Anyway, there's a delay with health list messages so I thought I'd throw this
out there since I do believe I got the whole kit-n-kaboodle, the entire primer,
the oh whatever you want to call it today...just have to translate it through my
non-scientist brain and make it concise enough to share! :)
