Has the vet seen Henry yet?  No one has mentioned this as a possibility, and I hope that is not what is going on in Henry's case, but a really swollen abdomen could mean an enlarged spleen... and the common reasons for that is some sort of infection that is going on, or, lymphoma, and if he is only 3 mths old, you are possibly looking at juvenile lymphoma.  Hopefully that is not Henry's case, but yes, spleens can get so enlarged they can rupture.  If he hasn't seen a knowledgeable ferret vet yet, I would get him in asap.
