I just had a wild thought. So wild can be good or just plain wild.
One of the treatments for Distemper is Vitamin A. Doesn't ferretone have a lot of Vitamin A in it. I wonder if give your ferret Ferretone every day would help ward off distemper or reduce its severity? I know the amount give in distemper treatment is very high I just wondered if daily doses of ferretone would help or not.
In humans they say take a lot of Vitamin C to ward off disease I wonder if daily Ferretone would help ward off distemper. Ward off not prevent infection.
Like I said it was a wild thought.

[High doses of Ferretone would cause severe diarreah. There is no evidence to suggest that high doses of Vitamin A are preventative for acquiring distemper. - Moderator (TD)]
