Dr. Jerry Murray spoke with them. Here is a paraphrase from what I recall that he found:
The study was a very small safety study, so more of a preliminary study than an actual study: large enough to create interest for more study but not large enough to treat like a conclusion to rely upon.
There are no effectiveness studies to date so it might not work sufficiently, and if it does work how long it works for is also an unknown.
Again, this is from memories and I really should not even be online right now since my eyes are not comfy, but IF my memory serves it is not grown in a ferret cell line, and the company would like to see if it works for ferrets but is a small company.
Anyway, check me on that with what Dr. Murray wrote to the Ferret Mailing List pretty recently. Nanc may well post with some additional info from a conversation she had unless she already did and I missed it accidentally.
