I've got to agree and disagree. We've got a tin-roofed addition on our house
which has poor ventilation in the attic (it's something the previous owners
did and which is on our list of things to fix). That addition houses my
craft/sewing room and during the summer temperatures regularly climb into
the mid-80s despite having the AC running constantly. My little female
prefers to find a burrow back there, either in among my fleece scraps or
inside a drawer with some sweatshirts. Not only is she sleeping in the
warmest part of the house, she's usually bundled in something unseasonally
warm.

When she wants to play she will head to the cooler parts of the house.

Connie in southern OK, still in the throes of a 10+ day-long stretch of
triple-digit temps.
