Subject: [ferrethealth] Mass/Tumor in ear

My ferret name Rene is only 1.9 years old and yesterday I found a mass in his left ear. Its very had and goes deep down in to the ear canal. when looking at him from the front of his face the ear looks a little off as if it is a size to small. I called the vet and the earliest appointment is Monday at 10 am.
I think it might be a mass cell tumor.
I was wondering if any one else had have a ferret with a mass in its ear and what kind of treatment was giving.
I was also wondering if any one has treated a mass in an ear with Essiac and if it had really worked.
I have done a lot of research and a lot of hits came up with Essiac some where with the page. I am also going to be asking my vet there thoughts on Eesiac when I have my appointment.
