Dear Skyla,
An aspirate may tell you if lymphoma is present but you won't be able to grade the lymphoma. Grading the lymphoma may give you insight as to how well your ferret may respond to chemotherapy. For several years I have been using a protocol from Natalie Antinoff at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists and have had several patients go into complete remission. If your veterinarian would like more information I can send it.
