Subject: [ferrethealth] Update : Lymphoma--Lymph nodes, not GI!
To: "ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com" <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>
GinGin received the Week I chemo for the Tufts Protocol. While getting the "real" chemo drugs she also gets daily pred, so I started her on sucralfate and pepcid as well.
So far, she is tolerating it well although 24 hrs after Cytoxin I believe she was nauseated because I observed her doing a lot of digging in her bedding. She is also very mildly ataxic--very subtle--once in a while her back leg appears to slip on the floor.
Her appetite is as good as ever and her energy level is about the same.
Thursday we go back for more l-asparginase and a CBC.
Thanks everyone who has contributed to this topic--even if I don't reply to each of your posts I really appreciate it!
Skyla and GinGin
