Subject: [ferrethealth] vomiting blood

Someone in the "Infirmary" (5 older ferrets all with health issues)vomited bloody mucus (bright red). All 5 have been up eating and drinking and I see no other symptoms...not sure who is ill. Litter box looks normal. What else should I look for? What possible causes?
