LOL! It sounds like a suggestion to *try* coccidia as a pro-biotic product that not many stores stock!

However, to be on-topic-- I posted recently suggesting a product made by Jarrow called Pet-Dophilus. I had not used it in a while but since GinGin's started chemotherapy and on antibiotics her stools have been a range of soft-formed to diarrhea. I started the Pet-Dophilus up again and it's really helped! Her poops are back to normal.

Incidentally, my personal feeling about IBD is that it may be the outcome of dietary intolerance ("food allergy") over the long term. Different pet species have different "top ten" food allergies. I can't help but suspect chicken is a big problem for ferrets and hence for ferret people, because it's in almost everything we feed them.

I just throw that out there because it's not always a parasite or bacteria that's the problem, and sorting out a food sensitivity can take weeks to months to pin down, and the least little molecule of the allergen when ingested can cause the symptoms to flare right up again. If you can pin it down, you can wean your pet off the immunosuppressive drugs and get them truly healthy, so it really does pay off eventually!
