Thank you for the quick reply!! I am hoping to avoid surgery... He is young, but if it comes to that being the only thing that will help him, it will be considered. That is amazing that your ferret is doing so well after the surgery!! Fisher is so young, I want to do all I can for him! Before he got sick, he would always run around, was happy, and would climb all over the place!!! I hate seeing him so lethargic all the time now :(
I forgot to mention, he was just put on the diazoxide last week (so he's been on it for about 5 days). Does it take time for that med to build up in his system? I'm wondering if his dose might need adjusting because it is a new drug for him.
