Thanks for the reply Jeff. I had been doing the 3x/day as suggested by Joclyn for a while (I post on forum.ferret.com and she has been helping me tons with Fisher), but had stopped doing that. Will give it another go.

I am concerned that there is something else going on with him as he should have been responding well to the meds by now. My vet has palpated him multiple times checking his pancreas but she says it doesn't feel any larger then normal (this was just last week).

How much does the surgery normally run? And if he does a carcinoma of the pancreas, is there anything that can really be done? I hate to do surgery on him, their little bodies are so fragile and surgery takes a lot out of them. But I don't want him to suffer anymore. He does not have the quality of life he once had, even a year ago, and I just want to have him feel better.... That is my ultimate goal, if it can be done.

Also throwing in here that he did have ECE (contracted by new baby feret we brought home in November), no one else go it (Moe showed some signs, but nothing like Fisher got it, I did not think he was going to live). Fisher started peeing a bright orange, was not eating, his stomach hurt him when palpated by the vet, wasn't drinking.... He lost weight rapidly... This was when I noticed he started acting "off". He was treated with anti-boitics and got better within a few days. But again, since then, he just doesn't seem right. :(
