thank you for your honest response. I am glad you are doing well and off chemo yourself! A friend told me that her friend on chemo had the same feelings as you--she said she'd rather have the cancer than the adriamycin.
I had thought maybe it was worth a try--but on the other hand, she hasn't responded to *any* chemo so far so why would this one work? But we know for sure it will make her feel awful. So, I am probably not going to put her thru it.
It's just so hard to get a straight answer from the vets--even on the FHL--because nobody wants to influence your decision. I really appreciate your input.

I know we are not ferrets but the chemo drug you mention was 1 that I was on for my cancer. Chemo makes you feel horrible and I feel does more harm than good (at least for me it did as I watch my kidneys fail because of it).
