Many Thanks for the responses. The implants were the 4.7 Suprelorin implants - the same ones my 4 brats have been getting. I do notice my kids may sleep a little more after the first couple of week with a new implant. I've heard others report this as well.
Based upon what I later learned about the condition of the ferrets, I too suspect that they were major carcinoma cases that would not have been helped by anything.
Thanks for the feedback - I'm really glad to see that others are not finding similar results.
