Please keep in mind that every time you prick, you need to use a NEW Lancet as there will be remnants on the old one from the previous use and could through off the glucose reading.
Just a FYI. This is why you always get the same number of lancets that you strips.
[As others have noted, a small gauge needle removed from a syringe can be easier on the ferret than a lancet. --Moderator (CMM)]
