Flower's vet visit:
Vet drained 3 ccs serosnguinous fluid from large grape sized cyst. Cytology revealed abnormal cells, red blood cells, neutrophils and white blood cells. Due to location of cyst (attached to vulva and internal vulvar structures) vet does not feel confident that surgical excision would be successful.

Vet recommends putting her on antibiotics to combat any infection. And to drain the cyst as needed in the future. Observe Flower closely for any disruption or prevention in her ability to eliminate properly.

Vet has had experience with cystitis in Male ferrets but those ferrets only had 2 to 3 drainage episodes before euthanasia because of the cysts impeding their ability to urinate.

Flower and DaVinci no longer are allowed common access to each other.
The cyst could have been from an injury caused by an over amorous DaVinci, OR it could be the beginnings of a metastasizing cancer from her Adrenal problem.

Time will tell if she responds to the antibiotic regimine or not.
