This sounds as if it is the same product as the Amoxi Drops, which also mixes to form 15 ml of liquid amoxicillin at 50 mg/ml concentration. With the Amoxi Drops, you add 12 (twelve) ml of water to create a total of 15 ml of the final product. Dosage for ferrets is from 0.4 ml to 0.6 ml twice daily, depending on the size of the ferret. A ferret of approx 2-2.5 lbs would be 0.5 ml twice daily. This is based on my experience with this product and with the dosages that my vets have given to me on several occasions.
Amoxi Drops must be refrigerated once mixed, and after two weeks, the product has lost it's potency and should be discarded. Ask your vet if your Biomox is the same.
