There have been a number of alerts issued by the Environmental Protection Agency, Health Canada, Canadian and American Veterinarian Medical Associations, as well as, state/provincial veterinarian medical associations warning the public about the use of these products!
In particular the dog spot-on treatments (ALL brands) should NEVER be applied to cats or ferrets, they are known to be fatal to these species.
Anything you can buy on-line is NOT the same as what your vet sells. There are knock-offs purchased illegally on the blackmarket and resold on-line. Its a similar scam to prescription medications that you can buy on-line without a prescription.
